Dan Bar‑el is an award‑winning Canadian children’s author of picture books, middle grade novels, and graphic tales. He has published seventeen books with both large and small publishers in Canada and the United States, many of which have received starred reviews, won awards, or been shortlisted for major honours. In addition to his writing, Dan has worked with children for more than three decades and has presented to hundreds of thousands of students through school visits, workshops, and festivals across North America and abroad.
