Biography

Margaret Webb is the author of two nonfiction books and also writes feature films, fiction and magazine articles (food, farming, environment, wine, running, adventure travel, profiles, memoir -- okay, just about everything that catches her attention). Her features have appeared in Canada's leading magazines and newspapers and her first nonfiction book won a Canadian culinary book award. She co-wrote the feature film, Margarita, which won Audience Favourite Awards at two festivals, played at international film festivals and Netflix. She is currently at work on a novel. She is an inspiring speaker (fitness, running, food, farming) who has delivered keynotes at conferences, corporations and expos. She taught journalism and magazine writing at Ryerson University for nearly 20 years and now, as a writing coach, offers mentoring to select clients writing books and articles.
