Wendy MacIntyre lives in Carleton Place, Ontario where she supports herself as a freelance writer and editor. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland and has a Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh. In addition to the novels listed below, she has published short fiction and literary criticism in journals including The Malahat Review, The Antigonish Review, The University of Windsor Review, Open Letter and Ironwood. She has co-authored a young adult novel with R.P. MacIntyre, Apart, which was a Canadian Children's Book Centre Best Books for Kids and Teens Starred Selection and an Ontario Library Association Best Bets for Young Adult Fiction. Wendy MacIntyre's novel, Hunting Piero, inspired by the life and work of the Renaissance painter Piero di Cosimo, will be published by Thistledown Press in October 2017.
