Brenda Brooks was born in Rivers, Manitoba, and grew up in various locales across the country. She graduated from York University in Toronto, and worked for many years at the Canadian Press. She now lives in Perth, Ontario, where she is working on a novel and poetry collection. She has published two poetry collections, 2 novels and appeared in anthologies in Britain, Canada, and the U.S.A. Her latest novel, HONEY, was published by ECW Press in Fall 2019.
