Diane Sims has been a writer for more than 40 years. She worked in national print and broadcast media, was an editor at a publishing house and then corporate editor at a Crown corporation -- before ovarian cancer changed her life and writing. She is the author of six books, one of which was published in Japan and China, another of which was published in France. She has had short stories published in half a dozen international anthologies. She was nominated for a National Magazine Award for her article about MAiD in Maclean's in 2024.
