BIO
Biography

Rebecca Luce-Kapler was born and raised in Central Alberta. She has been a member of the Alberta Writers Guild for over twenty years during which time she worked as a freelance writer (with WordsWorth) and published fiction and poetry in a number of literary journals including Event, Grain, Dandelion, Freefall, Other Voices, and Room of One's Own. She also has had several pieces broadcast on CBC's Alberta Anthology. Rebecca spent ten years working as a high school English teacher and creative writing instructor. In 1997, she moved to Kingston, Ontario to teach at Queen's University Faculty of Education in language and literacy. Her research focus is writing curriculum and teaching. She currently Dean of the Faculty of Education.
