Dora Dueck is the award-winning author of three novels, a collection of short fiction, and most recently, a non-fiction book, Return Stroke: essays & memoir, as well as articles, essays, reviews, and stories in a variety of journals. Her novel This Hidden Thing won the McNally Robinson Book of the Year Award at the Manitoba Book Awards in 2011 and What You Get at Home was the High Plains Book Award winner for short fiction in 2013.
