Doris Belusic
BIO
Biography

Doris Belusic is a poet, nonfiction writer, and editor of The Blind Canadian magazine. She received her BA in writing from UVic in 2019 as a blind, mature student. Her biggest thrill was having her first book published, I Am Blind (Beech Street Books, 2024), a children's grade 3-6 nonfiction book - and then finding it on the shelf at Victoria's iconic Munro's Books! Next on her wish list - publishing a poetry collection. Doris lives in Victoria with her husband and dog.
