Danny Neville
BIO
Biography

Danny Neville was born and raised in rural Ontario. He is an elementary school educator and teacher librarian with many years of experience in public and private education, both in Canada and abroad. He is also an active volunteer with the Ontario Library Association as the editor-in-chief of The Teaching Librarian magazine, the official publication of the Ontario School Library Association.

Danny writes books for children and is currently working on a Certificate in Creative Writing from the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies. He was a participant in the FOLD's Pitch Perfect: Kid Lit Edition in 2023, as well as the Annick Press Mentorship Program which supports writer's who have been historically excluded from children's publishing. Danny writes book reviews for the CCBC's Book News magazine and is a member of CANSCAIP and SCBWI. 

His first publication, a series of chapter books for young readers, is scheduled for release in early 2026 with Annick Press.
