On March 21, at 7 PM, CMU Press in Winnipeg will be launching David Waltner-Toews's New and Selected Poems, edited, with an introduction by professor Nathan Dueck from the College of the Rockies. The book also includes an afterward/memoir about the author's life in poetry. The event will be held at McNally Robinson Bookstore. On April 23, during National Poetry Month, he will be doing an Ontario launch at the Kitchener Public Library (again, at 7 PM). 

A veterinary epidemiologist and Officer in the Order of Canada, Waltner-Toews has published more than 20 books of poetry, fiction and science. For more on Waltner-Toews, see davidwaltnertoews.wordpress.com.
