After ten books of poetry for adults, a satirical novel, cabana the big,  that foretold the rise of a Trump & Company, and hundreds of published letters in Canadian and American newspapers, Ron has become a children's author as well. His most recent kids' books are Robots in the Diner, a Becky Murphy Mystery, and a second Becky Murphy mystery,The Stolen City Names, both set in Kitchener, Ontario. These two will be followed by a third mystery, Trial by Toronto. 

Ron has re-imagined the English classic poem Who Killed Cock Robin?, which he will be taking into the schools. WKCR? offers a vocabulary around death, dying and the honours accorded to the deceased. These books feature Ron's trademark wit and spectacular illustrations by twin sisters, Patrica and, yes, Robin Dewitt. They are available at the Friesen Press bookstore and very reasonably priced. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Ron now lives and works in Toronto.
