Biography

Sita Jit (she/her) is an Indian-Canadian educator and author born and raised in Toronto. She has worked as a primary teacher, literacy lead teacher, and Curriculum Consultant and most recently, children’s book author.

She loves writing picture books, chapter books and middle grade novels that are full of heart, joy, community, intergenerational relationships and Indian culture.

When she is not spending time with her husband, three children and extended family, she can be found reading, writing, listening to music, watching movies, or traveling.
