Guided by the life cultivation practice of Ren Xue, Stephanie Ross writes from a place where inner inquiry meets the living world. Working across poetry, creative nonfiction, and fiction, she draws inspiration from her experiences as a sailor, pilot, and homeschooling mother, exploring how both internal and external navigation can shape our understanding of healing and connection.
Her writing carries the quiet influence of her work as a certified Ren Xue Yuan Qigong teacher, extending an invitation for readers to relax, soften, and connect more deeply with the heart and True Self.
Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in The League of Canadian Poets’ Fresh Voices, White Wall Review, Ren Xue of the Americas Qiblog, Spank the Carp, Tiger Moth Review, Braided Way Magazine, The Wild Umbrella, and others. Outside of writing and Yuan Qigong practice, she can often be found walking forest trails with her 67-pound lap dog, Pepper.

Where do creativity and your inner voice come from?
This workshop draws on Ren Xue life-cultivation practices to awaken inner connection and guide writing from a place beyond thought. Through gentle Qi exercises and heart-centered reflection, participants are invited to connect more deeply with Self allowing creativity to emerge naturally.
Time is given to free-writing from a meditative state and to relax into a gentle rhythm of internal exploration emerging in what is often playful and insightful writing. You will be given opportunities to share your work and discover how reading aloud can offer new ways of hearing messages from within.
Participants are encouraged to bring openness to Qi, to heart connection, and to nurturing a safe and respectful space for all.
Facilitator: Stephanie Ross, is a certified Ren Xue Yuan Yuan Qigong teacher with over a decade of trauma informed facilitation experience. Her writing has been published in numerous Qiblogs and international journals.
