Event: Sep 12, 2026 | 11:00 AM (EDT)

The Toronto Poetry Festival is a celebration of multilingual poets, centred on the theme of intellectual freedom. The 2026 festival will take place on September 12th, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you are a poet, you may read your work in your own language. There is no registration fee to participate in the poetry readings. For registration inquiries, please contact: torontopoetryfestival@gmail.com

The festival will be held outdoors at Toronto's Taylor Creek Park (Spot #5, 260 Dawes Road, East York, ON M4C 5C4), surrounded by the vibrant colours of autumn. It offers an opportunity for quiet reflection and a deep connection with nature.

The festival embraces Canadian multiculturalism, weaving together the nation's values of diversity and pluralism. The Toronto Poetry Festival aspires to use poetry as a means to help create a more peaceful world.

The event is open to everyone. No tickets are required.
