Sylvie Gendreau

Biography

Sylvie Gendreau is an author and executive coach who has advised senior executives across North America and Europe for over twenty-five years. Her essays explore how imagination and collective intelligence shape leadership; her speculative fiction asks what happens when science outruns conscience. The Atelier on Rue Daguerre opens her novel cycle The Thread.

A World Economic Forum Agenda contributor, she wrote a column on innovation for The Conversation France for two and a half years. Her opinion pieces have appeared in Management, Slate.fr, HuffPost, Ouest-France, Psychologies, La Presse, Les Echos, France Info, La Tribune and Contrepoints.

Founder of La Nouvelle École de Créativité and of the online publications Le Nouveau Leadership, Les Cahiers de l'imaginaire and The Innovative Mind, she taught creativity to doctoral students at Polytechnique Montréal for ten years.
