Annahid is author of non-fiction books Bones of Belonging: Finding Wholeness in a White World (Dundurn 2023) and Breaking the Ocean: A Memoir of Race, Rebellion and Reconciliation. A leading voice on issues of racism, inclusion and belonging, Annahid is also Co-founder of Anima Leadership, a diversity and leadership firm designing and leading change on individual, organization and system levels. Annahid has managed national campaigns, advised on policy and led many organizational development initiatives. She has written pieces for the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, The Walrus and Chatelaine magazines and served on numerous juries including the Hilary Weston non-fiction award. Annahid lives in Toronto surrounded by more books than she will ever read, always on the lookout for the next good story.
