Peta-Gaye Nash is a Jamaican-Canadian writer of short fiction, children's books and poetry. She has two collections of short fiction, I Too Hear the Drums (2014) and Told Ya! (2024), as well as seven children's books, including the award winning Bushyhead. Her Caribbean heritage inspires much of her work. In 2015, she won the Marty Awards for Emerging Literary Art and the Marty Awards for Established Literary Art in 2022. Peta-Gaye lives and works in Mississauga.
