BIO
Biography

After a career in science and business, I returned to my childhood love of writing. As an avid reader of crime fiction, I naturally chose this genre. Like many new writers, I had my share of rejections as well as wonderful writing teachers and encouragement. My breakthrough came in 2009 when my novel was shortlisted for the UK's Debut Dagger Award, leading to the publication of Windigo Fire by Seraphim Editions. I have continued to write award-winning short crime fiction.

In 2013, I co-founded the literary group, The Mesdames of Mayhem, which now numbers 25 members. Three are even Messieurs! We have published five anthologies to date with our 6th due to be published in September, 2024. In 2019, we were the subject of a  critically acclaimed CBC documentary by director, Cat Mills. The Mesdames of Mayhem is available for viewing on GEM and Youtube.
