George M. Johnson's award-winning picture books have recently been published. Sophia's Secrets (Clavis) won the Pacific Northwest Writers' Childrens Book Competition, and Aldo Renaldo and the Renegade Alphabet (Histria KidsBooks) was a finalist in the San Francisco Writers Conference Writing Contest. His eco-comedy, Boomerangst ,about former rockers on a retirement commune who fend off a multinational mining company, was successfully produced by Chimera Theatre in Kamloops, B.C. in June 2023.
