Join award-winning author Rod Carley as he provides ideas for publicity and promotional activities that work, including a blueprint for your own personal book marketing plan. Hosted by author Arjun Basu, this webinar runs 60 minutes including a Q&A period. Members of The Writers’ Union of Canada (TWUC) will have access to a recording of the webinar for a limited time. Non-members will only have access to the live event.

Rod Carley is the award-winning author of Ruff (2024 national bestseller), Grin Reaping (2022), Kinmount (2020), and A Matter of Will (2017). He’s been longlisted for the Leacock Medal for Humour three times and has twice received the Silver Medal from the Independent Publisher Book Awards in addition to the Bronze Medal for Humour from Foreword Review INDIES. He was a Finalist for 2023 Next Generation Indie Book Award for Humor, the 2021 Carter V. Cooper Short Fiction Prize, and the 2023 ReLit Award for Best Short Fiction. Last spring, Rod was Writer in Residence at the Toronto Reference Library.

His work has been widely anthologized. A former magazine editor and media strategist, he hosts The Full Bleed, a podcast about the future of magazines. He lives in Montreal.
