Two Armenians are murdered in the Don Valley near the Pottery Road Bridge sixty-three years apart. Crime writer, Noah Asher, sets out on a journey at the end of which he discovers government corruption over land deals near the Bayview Extension in Toronto.

The first part of the story is seen through the eyes of Levon Andonian, a young boy who lived above the valley near the crime scene and was befriended by a migrant, Garbis Manooguian, who made the valley his home. Both become victims in the scheme to buy and develop prime land in the city. The second part focuses on Noah Asher’s search for the truth behind the murders of the two men.
