Tracy Kasaboski lives and writes in Laurentian Hills in the beautiful Ottawa Valley, where characters of every stripe abound. It is a place that inspires artists, writers, scientists and thinkers. Her writing credits include her most recent novel, The Birdman of Wylie Road, which was long-listed for the Whistler Independent Book Awards, a previous novel Mr Isbister's Marvellous Ride, and two acclaimed works of non-fiction, co-authored and co-researched with her sister and fellow writer, Kristen den Hartog. The Occupied Garden: A Family Memoir of Wartime Holland was a Globe and Mail Top 100 selection and was also translated into Dutch and published in The Netherlands as De Kinderen van de Tuinder. The Cowkeeper's Wish, A Genealogical Journey was praised by Canada's History magazine for its powerful blend of meticulous research and superb storytelling.
Can be an informal discussion with book clubs etc, or a more formal presentation to other groups including a slide show specific to author's published books with a Q&A after. All formats can be discussed.
