
The Toronto Star first published Angela in 2000. Since then her poetry, short fiction, and nonfiction have appeared in numerous publications, including The Globe and Mail, Utne Reader and Poetry Ireland Review. Her work has been widely anthologized and she's won several awards. She's the author of a book of travel essays (Every Day We Disappear) and a poetry collection (Observations from Off the Grid). She completed a Master of Journalism at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) in 2017, and a BA in Creative Writing at UBC in 2007.
