Biography

Kees Kapteyn has a published chapbook 'Temperance Ave.' through Grey Borders Books as well has been published in such magazines as Camel Magazine, NonBinary Review, Flo Magazine, Blank Spaces, Wordbusker, Dear Booze and various other publications. His short story “A Hierarchy of Needs” was shortlisted for the Gilmer Prize in 2024. Kees was raised in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, and now lives in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada where he works as an educational assistant.
