Don Thompson

Biography

Don Thompson is an economist and business school professor. He lives in Toronto.

He has taught strategy and marketing at the Schulich School of Business at York University, at Harvard Business School and at the London School of Economics, and has written on the art market for publications including The Times (London), Harpers Bazaar Art and The Art Economist.

He is the author or co-author of twelve books, including The $12 Million Stuffed Shark: The Curious Economics of Contemporary Art (Anchor/Random House), which has appeared in thirteen languages, and Oracles (Harvard Business School Press), which has appeared in four languages.
