Connie Gault

Biography

Connie Gault’s most recent novel, A Study in Red, was published in May, 2026. A previous novel, The Rasmussen Papers, was short-listed for the 2024 Toronto Book Award. Her work has been recognized as well by juries for the High Plains Fiction Award, the Commonwealth Prize for Best Novel of Canada and the Caribbean, and the 2015 Scotiabank Giller Prize. After living most of her life in Saskatchewan, Connie was honoured to receive the 2025 Cheryl and Henry Kloppenburg Award for Literary Excellence. She now resides in London, Ontario.
