Chaos Calling: Book I of The Xenthian Cycle by E. M. Williams has won the 2025 Canadian Book Club Award in SCI-FI/Fantasy. The annual awards program highlights the best titles in 13 genres, as chosen by Canadian readers. Canadian authors comprise 82 percent of finalists, and independently published books make up 50 percent of the finalist titles. Chaos Calling, published in 2022, is Williams' debut novel.
