My first romance novel, Ocean's Lure, was published in 2021. At the time, it was the second novel from the small hybrid publishing company I operate, Somewhat Grumpy Press. Since then, I've learned more about the business of publishing, and I recently reformatted the book and gave it a new cover. A larger size allows for larger printed text while reducing page count (and therefore production and mailing costs). The new illustrated cover, from E. M. Gales, is more suitable for a romance novel than the previous empty beach photo. Gales has also supplied a cover illustration for my second romance novel, Cover Charm, now in editing.
