Lucia Cascioli's 'The Way Back' was shortlisted for the 2026 Edinburgh Essay Award. Created by the Scottish Arts Trust, this award is open to writers worldwide. Lucia's essay, as well as her longlisted flash fiction, 'Smile', will be included in The Edinburgh Anthologies Volume 3, The Lovers and Other Stories.
