Applications for Upstart & Crow’s 2025 Poetry Residency are currently open until Tuesday, February 18. 

This residency offers a $4,000 grant, access to a beautiful writing studio on Granville Island, and editorial feedback to help shape and refine the poet’s work. The selected poet will be expected to complete a chapbook or full-length poetry collection by the end of their residency, ready for publication or submission. 

This program is open to all poets across Canada, and can accommodate remote applicants. Details and application available here.
