
Veronica Gaylie is a writer, poet and educator from Vancouver. Her first published literary book, Sword Dance: A Woman’s Story, A Celtic Poem (Exile, Toronto) appeared in Autumn 2015. Her creative non-fiction essays and poems have appeared in many journals, including Geist, Grain, Room, Ditch, The Fiddlehad, Carte Blanche, and The Poetry Review, and she’s published two books of environmental writing. An award winning educator, Veronica’s taught in schools, universities, local communities, and lead writing workshops in London, Kenya, Detroit, California and East Vancouver. Veronica completed an MFA (2024) in creative writing from King’s College Halifax and currently lives in Vancouver where she writes, advocates for nature, and teaches writing.
