Rebecca Wigod had a thirty-year career in print journalism, finishing with ten years as editor of The Vancouver Sun's books pages. In that position she met and interviewed Julian Barnes, Oliver Sacks, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and many other admirable writers. An avid reader of literary biographies, she spent seven years writing one of George Bowering, Canada's first Parliamentary poet laureate and a man once described as "put[ting] the 'pro' in 'prolific'."
