The Tuneful Voice: Selected Libretti (Rock's Mills Press).  Libretti written by Eugene Benson for the musical theatre over a period of fifty years, a number of them performed at the Stratford Festival, the Canadian Opera Company, Toronto Operetta Company,  Westben Arts Festival, and broadcast by the CBC. Includes adaptations of such writers as Jane Austen,  Dickens, and Oscar Wilde; its subjects range from the Middle Ages (Heloise and Abelard) to the twentieth century (Tom Thomson).
