Biography
i am steward of life, writer, ritual theatre practitioner, and co-founder of greenhouse theatre
I am a queer Tagalog and T’karonto-based writer whose work is devoted to unraveling the spells of separation between life, art and magic. I have been published in print publications including Countermaps: A Poetic of Place, Feel Ways : A Scarborough Anthology and Home is in the Body as well as digital publications including Tilting, Re: Asian, and Briarpatch Magazine. As a playwright, my work has been supported by the TAC, OAC, and CCA.
I steward storytelling animated by the somatics of freedom and eco-sensuality, observing constructions of race, sexuality, spirituality and ecology while exploring what it means to be a re-indigenizing subject living through the “The End of Empire Erotics”. I am currently working on two main projects for publication: (1) The novel Anak ng Bundok and (2) My first full-length poetry compilation “Queer Earth: An Anatomy of Fire”.
