Ben is returning to where it started. His writing career grew out of a piece he wrote for the Sechelt newspaper about one of BC's first bush pilots, Ayliffe "Pat" Carey, when they both lived on the Sunshine Coast. Pat, blind then, recited his life story and Ben made it into an exciting book called Flying With White Eagle.

Ben will be reading from a number of his works at the Davis Bay Hall in Sechelt on 25 January 2026.
