In February, Amherst Writers & Artists bring writers across the globe together to write in the AWA Method.

AWA-certified facilitators volunteer to offer online writing groups. You’ll find sessions on a myriad of topics and approaches, from Ekphrastic poetry to Hermit Crab Essays to writing through grief and loss, BIPOC offerings, and so much more.

Proceeds from each group support their non-profit mission. New writers experience the AWA Method and celebrate the unique creativity in each other’s voices.

Groups meet online and are priced sliding scale starting at $20 (if cost is a barrier, please reach out). To help take advantage of their packed schedule, there is a bulk discount: $15 each if you purchase 5, or $14 each for a batch of 10. And, if you have means, you can buy a pay-it-forward ticket, which helps writers with financial to attend. $20 of that ticket is tax-deductible as a donation.
