TWUC member CE Gatchalian is a playwright, novelist, and editor with over two decades of professional experience. He has edited approximately 30 books, in addition to numerous plays and manuscripts at various stages of development.

He offers comprehensive editorial support tailored to the needs of each project, including:

• Developmental editing (structure, narrative, and form)
• Line editing (clarity, tone, and flow)
• Dramaturgical consultation for theatre works
• Cultural consultation for any work involving Filipino and/or queer narratives
• Feedback on works-in-progress

His editorial approach combines structural rigor with an attentive, human-centered reading practice—engaging not only with the technical aspects of the work, but also with its voice, intention, and emotional impact.

CE works across genres, with particular expertise in literary fiction and theatre. (Graphic novels are outside his scope.)
