Mark your calendars for our favourite day of the year — the 2026 Manitoba Book Awards! 

This free, no-RSVP-required afternoon awards ceremony will celebrate the best of Manitoba writing and publishing with six awards and will be chock-full of our favourite things: award-winning authors, local raffle prizes, books for sale, and ample time for mingling.

These award ceremonies have been part of Manitoba’s literary landscape since 1989 and we’re so happy to be bringing them back to you this year.

Come join us on September 19 at the Park Theatre for an afternoon of fun! Doors open at noon and the ceremony will begin at one.
