Sonia Sulaiman

Biography
Sonia writes stories inspired by Palestinian folklore and history. Her work has been nominated for Pushcart, Lammy, Palestine Book, Arab American Book awards, and was a finalist for the Best New Weird Award. She has stories published in ArabLit Quarterly, Fantasy, FIYAH, and other venues.
She is working on her debut novel, a ya historical fantasy featuring the djinn in Ottoman Palestine.
Sonia was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. In her spare time, she curates the Read Palestinian Speculative Fiction Reading List.
