Toronto Reference Library will be hosting a Writer in Residence in April 2024! 

Toronto Public Library (TPL) invites Canadian authors with experience writing poetry for an adult audience to submit responses to the Expression of Interest (EOI). The EOI documentation can be downloaded at the following link:

Focus: Poetry for an adult audience  

Residency dates: April 15th – Jun 8th, 2024. Approx. 14 hours per week  

Location: Toronto Reference Library  

Remuneration: $8,000   

Application must include: CV, program/workshop proposals, 2 letters of reference and a sample of recent published writing. The successful candidate will be required to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check. The cost for the VSC is paid for by the Resident.
